Jen first unlocked her Galvan transformation Grey Matter, when she was ten years old and found the prototype Omnitrix. At first she found the transformation a liability, with Grey Matter's small stature and lack of physical strength. However, Jen quickly discovered the advantages of such a large boost to her intelligence, allowing her to work with nearly any technology along with furthering her problem solving abilities Grey Matter is a staple of Jen's line up of alien transformations.
The Galvan are an incredibly intelligent bipedal amphibious species hailing from the plant Galvan Prime. Galvans are a small species compared to other lifeforms in the Milky Way, on average they are six inches tall. They usually have smooth skin and are coated in a thin layer of mucus but grow wrinkles along with tendrils as they age. A single Galvan can live for thousands of years, but spend their earliest years as tadpoles in school. Due to early Galvan civilization being built upon a religious obsession with the remnants of a former civilization living on their planet who created highly advanced technologies that allowed Galvan civilization to be built upon understanding and progress. Unfortunately the original planet Galvan Prime was destroyed six years ago during the Highbreed invasion, after its destruction First Thinker Azmuth rebuilt the planet proclaiming it to be Galvan Mark II, however most people still refer to the planet as Galvan Prime.
